Day Three

So yesterday I had a papaya — I really hate papaya, I think it smells like BO, actually — but it’s on the list of approved foods and it just…. sounded yummy.
It sounded yummy?
Yes it did.
So I had some.

And, as I told Mr. Smith —
“Whoa, I used to not like papaya!”

Who knew?! Papayas are yummy!

And so are a lot of things now, that used to be only sort of okay. Like kale. Sauteed in coconut oil sprinkled with lemon juice and sea salt… OH MY oh my… heaven on earth. Almonds too. Pretty much everything I’ve been eating while on this cleanse is delicious. Way more so than these same foods were just a week ago.

It’s been fun to watch this happen to people I know, but it’s way more fun to feel it myself. Food just tastes better. I don’t know what this is doing to my taste buds, but I’m liking it!

And the number on the scale is doing what I was hoping it would do, so that’s good too.

Three days down; seven to go. I think I’m going to be sad when it’s over!
