Baby 4 has a name!

by Mrs. Smith on September 28, 2009

Our little man has a name now, yipee skippy!

But how does one share it in blogland when one is paranoid about protecting identity?

Hm.

One doesn’t.  (Gotcha!  hahaha…)
But I can share the background behind it, right?

This baby having been born on Constitution Day (just like I ordered, bless his obedient soul), we went with something patriotic.

His first name is my dad’s dad’s name, for those of you who know it, P1020084and being named after Grandpa is about as patriotic as it gets.  P1020085croppedWe love Grandpa.

Baby’s middle name is after one of my favorite heroes and Founding Fathers.   Pop Quiz!  Last name of the oldest signer of the US Contitution?Yeah.  That’s the one.  Such an awesome, witty, wise, neat guy.

We call Baby by his middle name as often (or more often) as we use his first, just fyi.   But here in Blogland he shall be known as Freedom.
Welcome to the world, buddy.

Oh for ridiculous sake, you are killing me! What if someone requests an email or a private FB message to know the name because she is dying. Is that allowed? If so, you should see my email with this message. If not, I will just cry into my pillow for the next week. No pressure. 🙂 Congrats on choosing a name!

Did I miss something? What is his name, for Pete’s sake? Do tell!
Love,
Dale

What an honor and a special blessing to name a baby after his grandpa 🙂 Does he know, yet? Are you going to call him by Dad’s nick-name his sisters always call him? _ _ _ _ ie? We also want to name one of our children (if we are ever bless with more) after Dad, but with his middle name. No, not Mads, but well add an “on” to the end to create Madson. Have fun with Freedom, and give him lots of snuggles and kisses. What a blessing! 🙂

Well, I figured out the middle name at least . . .

Seriously, though, you can swear up and down you wanted him to be born on Constitution Day, but I would bet you would not have minded had he been born a few days earlier than that. I’m just sayin’.

He’s beautiful. Congratulations!

Mrs. Smith!
I love you and yours and time has flow by in the past two months so fast. I just realized I never did get a response on what your baby’s name is. I feel so ashamed that we have been out of touch for so long. Please email me with the real facts and send all four of yours and that adorable hubby a great big hug and a kiss!

Tha baby is perfect and beautiful, of course. Follows in his siblings’ footsteps!
