Someone had a birthday!
He loved his package from Auntie.
I did too. It was super-fun talking with her while we opened it.
I still can’t believe she sent that keyboard all the way here. Which keyboard?
The one Freedom ripped the keys off while she was our nanny.
I remember it well – “Um, Auntie? How much do you love Freedom?”
“What happened???”
“Well, he used to not be able to open your laptop…”
SO sad, so sad… I’m glad we can laugh about it now. And I’m glad we have it in our possesion. I about died when I saw it. Whatever she paid in postage was totally worth it! And it turns out, John can actually use it in his hardware class this semester. Go figure!
Doodle liked the blower thingies.
For the record: Shorts over pants was not my idea. He got to wear the “mommy loves me so much she let me dress myself” sticker on his back today.
THE CAKE
Our neighbors’ little boy turned two just the day before Mr. Freedom. We went to a pot luck with them that night and they were kind enough to let us pretend the awesome dinosaur cake she made was for us, too.
We love our neighbors!
We love our happy, bubbly, funny little boy!
And we’re so glad you’re two!
