p.s. That’s why I’m not as close to the oldest niece and nephew anymore. I don’t know how to relate to them. The younger ones are easier because I can play with them, read to them, and be silly.

My whole family has always been very huggy, kissy, touchy, feely people, so they can’t complain much. But there definitely have been times when I didn’t want my parents doing any of that to me. Although I don’t have any kids yet, I already know what it feels like just from my nieces and nephews and other little kids growing up. I love toddlers, especially in these times, because they are still so innocent and happy and easily pleased. It’s kinda sad when they move on!
